Two not so intelligent friends win the lottery and decide to spend the money on a new business – a funeral service!
Thinking it will be easy money (because people die every day), they start up within days and start looking for customers. However, things are not as easy as they may have seemed, especially when a Russian mobster is their first client.
“Life with Death” is a funny story in the realms of “Dumb and Dumber” combined with the satirical humor of the legendary Monthy Python gang.
We will follow the journey of two knuckleheads who first are fortunate enough to win the national lottery, but then find themselves in the midst of a real drama involving several corpses, terms and procedures they are not familiar with, and a more demanding customers than they every could have imagined.
This is what you get when Dumb & Dumber start a funeral service.
About the Director.
I’ve always been kind of an outsider, seeing things differently than most others. I never fit in, never found my place. In this movie I’ve used that to my advantage as I have no trouble writing stories about people doing things they’re not cut out for, and where they will definitely step outside of the normal boundaries that other actors in the business have.
After writing the first version of this short film, which was a pilot for a TV Show, Andy saw how someone took his pilot and sold it to a production company behind his back. After discovering this, Andy decided to make the short film in stead, proving that he could make a better story with less resources, and that you can steal a man’s ideas, but never his vision.
